Jourdanton Volleyball Rolls Past Karnes City in Straight Sets

JOURDANTON, Texas — The Jourdanton Squaws came out with confidence Tuesday night, delivering a dominant performance against Karnes City and earning a convincing 3-0 sweep.

Jourdanton controlled the match from the opening set, winning 25-21, before pulling away even further in the second set with a 25-14 victory. The Squaws closed out the night by holding off Karnes City 25-23 in a competitive third set.

The victory showcased Jourdanton's ability to maintain pressure throughout the match. After taking control early, the Squaws continued to execute when the match tightened up late, especially in the third set.

The win also continues a strong stretch for Jourdanton at home. According to MaxPreps, the Squaws have now won 12 of their last 14 home matches, improving their season record to 16-11.

Jourdanton's victory comes after a challenging stretch that included a 3-0 loss to New Braunfels Christian Academy on September 8. The Squaws responded with a strong performance against Karnes City, showing their ability to bounce back and regain momentum.

Now, Jourdanton will look to carry that momentum into its next matchup. The Squaws are scheduled to return home Friday to face TMI-Episcopal at 5:00 p.m.

For Jourdanton, Tuesday night's sweep was more than just another win—it was another opportunity to build confidence heading into the next part of the season.
