Southside Cardinals JV Roll Past Laredo Martin, 42–24

SOUTHSIDE, TEXAS — The Southside Cardinals JV football team put together an impressive offensive performance, defeating the Laredo Martin Tigers 42–24 in a hard-fought matchup.

Southside came out ready to make an impact, consistently finding ways to move the football and put points on the scoreboard. The Cardinals' offensive production helped them build momentum throughout the game, while their defense made enough key stops to keep Laredo Martin from closing the gap.

The Tigers continued to battle, but Southside responded whenever Laredo Martin threatened to make a run. The Cardinals ultimately pulled away with a strong overall performance on both sides of the football.

The 42 points marked a productive night for the Southside offense, while holding Martin to 24 points gave the Cardinals the separation they needed to secure the victory.

For a JV team, games like this provide valuable opportunities for young players to gain experience, build confidence and continue developing as they work toward the future of Southside football.

With the win, the Cardinals can carry plenty of momentum into their next matchup as they continue their season.
